Q. How did you start the company?

A. In July 1997, the company was established in Adachi-ku, Tokyo as a M&A brokerage service provider (the company name at that time was Tenkaikeisha Co., Ltd.). In October 1998, the company name was changed to Strike Co., Ltd., and in January 1999, Strike opened Japan’s first M&A brokerage site SMART (Strike M&A Rapid Trading system). In August 2016, Strike relocated its headquarters to Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.

Q. When is the record date for dividends?

A. The record date for the year-end dividend and interim dividend is September 30 and March 31, respectively.

Q. How many shares are in a trading unit?

A. 100 shares.

Q. When does Strike’s annual meeting of shareholders take place?

A. The annual meeting of shareholders is held in late December each year. The date, time, and location of the meeting will be announced in early December to shareholders on record as of September 30.

Q. How can I exercise my voting rights at the shareholders' meeting?

A. We send a notice of convocation of the general meeting of shareholders and a voting right exercise form to shareholders registered in our shareholders' register as of the record date for the general meeting of shareholders (September 30 in the case of an annual meeting of shareholders).
Voting rights can be exercised by:
(1) attending the general meeting of shareholders and submitting the voting right exercise form at the meeting venue, or
(2) indicating your approval or disapproval of the proposal(s) on the voting right exercise form and returning it by post to us.

Q. Do you respond to questions related to information that may affect the stock price?

A. To prevent the leakage of important corporate information and ensure fair information disclosure, we refrain from responding to questions that could be considered as disclosure of information to specific shareholders or investors.

Q. When did Strike go public?

A. Strike was listed on the Mothers Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange on June 21, 2016, changed its market segment to the First Section on June 23, 2017, and transitioned to the Prime Market on April 4, 2022.

Q. What was the IPO price?

A. It was 7,770 yen.
